We're also missing a bit of flair from 13, why play Radford there he's just playing as another 2nd row/prop. Get Washbrook or Whiting in there when fit to take a bit of responsibility off the halves. Calderwood is lightweight, doesn't want to get involved (what's the constant pat back all about?) waste of space.

Of all the people who are to blame for the last couple of games, I'd say Calderwood was some way down the list.

He offers us nothing on the right, weak in defence and no penetration going forward. I agree both centres and wings need better ball to be effective but he just looks frail to me. Another pivot on the field at 13 might allow the half backs to play wider and therefore spread the ball better.

As a point of reference, Sam Moa's signing was announced on January 9th and the approval for his visa was announced on 19th February - seven weeks later.

Hame Lauaki's signing was announced on 23rd February so if a similar time frame follows and there are no problems we should hear some good news in about a week's time.

Totally wrong team selection.........Washy should have been in at 13 to give us some varition...Moa should be in u-21's and why leave Thacks out for a returning prop and one who cant play for more that 10mins.............Agar needs to look at himself after this as the buck stops with him and he got this one badly wrong.......Also whats wrong with Berrigan....his worst game in a Hull shirt so far.

It really is beyond belief. The 2 areas which let us down hugely tonight were our creativity (or lack of) and losing the forward battle, yet it's a winger who barely saw the ball receiving criticism.

Just proves what a lot of fecking idiots post on here.........He was sound in defence and looked to take the workload off the forwards...was unlucky with a bounce of the ball but his centre was non exsistent again but he is a local lad so is above critisam.
