Seriously though, Tom Briscoe was one of only two or three England players who did anything to enhance their reputations. Well done to him - given an injury free run in 2010, he has every chance of making the final squad for next year's tournament.

Sykes has just died at international level, hope Briscoe gets the FB spot when it matters against the Aussies and Kiwis, he deserves it.

This maybe because he died at SL level a couple of season ago too.

Sykes should have been put against the firing wall with Pryce , Senior , Burrow ect. He was gash.

Tom did himself very proud for his england debut ! And proud to have him in an HULL F.C shirt, he's a credit to our club.





Also thought Tickle had a good spell he certanly had a better game than Gareth Ellis, he gave away two opportunities to wales.

I enjoyed it when Jordan James shot out of the line, sat Briscoe on his backside only for Briscoe to jump straight back up and continue 10 metres with James and another Welsh forward on his back.

Regardless of age I think Tom Briscoe should be in the England squad for the 4 nations. He has that X factor needed at such a young age. The Aussies dont think twice about throwing a 19 year old Folau in to the test team cos they know quality when the see it.

Yeah he did. So did Flower. Considering it was such a young side I thought there was some promise by the Welsh, England were poor but Wales certainly didn't disgrace themselves.

Fully agree. Almost didn't bother watching when I saw the Welsh team but thought they stood up really well. Good work by Harris.

Thought the Welsh played well and can take some real positives out of the game.
