Anybody else think this decision was vital? I felt we were playing our way back into the game and if that try was given we could have gone on to win the game. Shocking decision

If Turner had passed earlier then he may have scored anyway...the vital decision was Seymour adjuged not to to have difused the kick when show-pony Ratchford scored.

I thought the Seymour one was fair enough tbh. Turner should have passed or gone him self, not wait till he was wrapped up

After watching the game again I'm not see why hodgsons second was ruled out either so I suppose it cancels it out

i called it as obstruction at the match when everyone else was cheering, just due to the logistics of it. seeing it back, no one was obstructed, no one was taken out and the player rang through the hole.

Should have been a try imo , I thought seymore defused the ball aswell .

First try i though Atkins pulled back Turner in the air and was not contesting the ball.

Ratchfords try i thought it shouldnt have been a drop out but a tap restart (iirc)

Turner fooked up the Foster one, no qualms on that

Hodgson rightly ruled out for obstruction if letter of law applied

Overall i dont think any decisions cost us the game though

Certainly. He pulls his shoulders back just as Turner is going to catch it, subtle enough to get away with it but obvious if you know what you're looking for

Best team won though and none of the decisions impacted on the overall outcome

The decision to award Seymour a contract was a game-changer for me. We should also have binned Turner and let Crooks play. After all, he'll be the one replacing.

Totally agree about that, but not because Turner is leaving, Crooks just earned a place IMO.

50/50 on wires first try, atkins placed his hand on turners shoulder once he couldn't get the ball

wires disallowed try, correct call, briers near enough stopped to let the runner through befor putting the kick through

wire were the better team on the night and deservedly won, interesting to see john stankovich saying on twitter that if we had thrown the ball about from minute 1 instead of after 65 minutes the result could've been so different!

Maybe you could explain how we were supposed to throw the ball around when for most of the first half Wire slowed the PTB down so much and had such fast defensive line speed that their defenders were practically in our line by the time the dummy half passed the ball.

And that's without mentioning their efficiency in wrapping our players up to prevent the offload.

Oh - and even after all the above we [idid[/i manage to give the ball some air occasionally. And promptly dropped it. Or passed forward.
