Goes without saying......as much as I liked Calderwood you would never have seen him do what Sharp did yesterday. Tremendous play. Couldn't make out who was chasing Manu, but didn't realise he had such a turn of pace (or not if it was Widders and Fozzard chasing - just an optical illusion!) |

Really impressive stuff, Sharp made a similar break against us last season and scored from it himself! One thing we can't complain about this year is having two really strong, confident and young wingers with pace to burn. |

That's it isn't it! Was saying last night, I really want to Briscoe to continue to progress on the wing and not bring him inside. Once he gets the ball he's lethal. Hopefully the likes of Westy can help in that dept this year. |

Two good assists by Longy - just what you want from a half. Thought the goal line defence was poor for both of Chase's tries. Manu try was brilliant.

Better highlights. Our tries were far better worked IMO, two of their tries came from some Rangi magic on the line. Our on-line defence was poor at times, but we seemed to ship it wide pretty good.
