Agree with last comment he played well yesterday. Think he could be 1 of our better signings.

On paper I would imagine most of us (moi included) thought he was our most uninspiring signing.

Having seen bits and pieces of all three he could be our best.

What's he or the club supposed to do ? Not play in the biggest games of his career ? Its not like we can ask him not to play anyway.

If he is crocked when he gets here I am sure we will do something about it.

Just because we already have a hooker, it doesnt mean we cant replace him with someone better plus Pbst will be off soon im sure.

...thought we needed very good players and by sounds of it...he is better than Obst.

Been mentioned before but this viewpoint is similar to the Dean Treister/Richard Swain situation.

Heremaia is a far better player than Obst.

I've no doubt he's better than Obst, just wasn't a position we needed to focus on, imo.

Think it is as Houghtons form in the last few matches has been down and his passing v leeds was shocking....Heremia to start with Houghton off bench makes us stronger than Houghton/Obst.

It never did Saints any harm having 2 top drawer hookers in Cunningham & Roby....

Not being disrespectful to Heremaia but I'm sure we could have gotten a British equal.

Agree about Diskin but Gary would have told Kath no chance.

He let him go to their rivals! Maybe he himself didn't want to move too far, who knows.
Just would have been a good option and it sounds like we were never in for him, which is strange.

IMO we desperately needed a second hooker, Houghton has limitations to his game at present and suffers doing the full 80 mins.
