I realised what a weird sounding woman that bint with the microphone is!!

Apart from the dullest game of RL I have seen in a long time I then had to listen to 'coming on for...' and other gems popping out of her mouth!!

I used to love going to Hull games, there was always a great atmosphere and half time there was always something to look at (even if it was just a bird sat a few rows in front) but now it seems like the whole matchday thing is put together by a Primary School on Hessle road!!

Next time I go I will be taking a book

Totally agree...the match day experience is painful at the moment....seems no energy or passion in anything we are doing (and yes i am talking about before the players take to the field).

At least the cheer leaders were a bit better at HT last night...bless em. Mid week I used to be sooo excited at the thought of watching my beloved FC at the weekend, sad to say that isn't the case at the moment.

But like most of us..i'll be there come next match day......

The whole match day package needs a shake up. We don't have to go down the Bradford route but we should do [isomething[/i at least.

Hopefully the woman on the mic is just an interim thing. Why does she have to SHOUT? doesn't she know she's holding a microphone?

I'd also hate it to turn into Odsal, but having the team read out clearly is the bare minimum of what a pre-match should be. Not being able to hear the team is just unacceptable.

We call her Shouty bird ,as we also have an Airlie bird !

Our youngest got tired; our eldest got bored and played on her ds most of the second half.

I struggled through it, but it was all painfully dull.

Hate to say this, but decided to leave just after the disallowed Salford score to beat the car park rush...

Have to admit, I would think hard about coughing up for a family night out at the games given the lack of entertainment - especially on the field.

Last night was a freebie for us via Junior AB's, but if I am to spend £60 on a family trip to a game, it has to entertain because for that money we can have a full day out that is more entertaining and lasts more than 80 minutes of rugby and 10 minutes of wailing banshee at half-time.

Thats what i was thinking and when she says sponsored by every time she says a name off the team sheet . Shes really pushing my patient at the min !!!

at least steve jordan whipped up some excitement,even when some people used to moan about him.i could also understand what he was saying,unlike last night.she seemed more interested in shouting through the team line-ups in the quickest time possible,and her attempt to get the crowd going in each stand was awful.even the east stand couldn't be bothered with her last night!!!!

I can never understand a word she shouts.

Even for the Saints game there was no pause after Longs name was read out - anybody with half a clue would have expected some sort of reaction and paused for a moment.
