His offloading in his second spell changed the game imo.

Second spell was immense.

Thought it was Steve Norton putting Turner in the clear.

The spell where he was loose forward and then moved to fullback when Horne went off and we went down to 12 men.

Steady, he was good but....steady on!

Yeah, he'd already tore them a new one by that time though.

I think Gentle didn't realise what he had in whiting until recently. The guy can play anywhere and is willing to do whatever it takes. He has to get a new deal.

Without question the best utility player in the league. Any club in SL would love to have him imo.

He was Dallas Johnsonesque today.

Superb in defence, passing and offloads were sublime today.

His second spell today was brilliant, and his pass in the tackle to Turner was excellent for Yeamans try.

Really hope he gets a new deal, he deserves it IMO.

He spent a good bit of time smashing Dobson .Got bored with that and did his Jason Smith spot .Then a run out at full back Just another day at the office for the kid

Always been a fan of Rich,he seems to go from strength to strength. A gem of a player.

Best utility and, if he carries on producing that sort of form, one of the best loose forwards.

Another player who has stepped it up again from last season, every season people say dont see a spot for him but he does prove what a good player he is

Hope Rich is signed up ASAP. Think he gives 100 per cent where ever he plays. Good to see him in his preferred position.

Another great performance by Whiting and shown what a valuable guy he is to have in the team. Hope he gets a new deal as think he is worth it and earned it. I'd hate to be Gentle & McRae at the end of the season as I'm sure there is going to be some disappointed players & fans with who's retained.

Just shows with very few additions what we are now getting from the same players under strong solid coaching.

It is good to see so many fans appreciating his performance yesterday spoke after the game to my daughter and said the same, her comment was lets see how many other saw what we did, so well done to true rugby fans it is not just about the tries, does is week in week out probably 3 bad games in 3 years and has been in every position now as he hooks .

Can't remember these 3 games if I'm honest.

He does have them, albeit few and far between.

Yesterday I thought his first spell was pretty good but his second spell was superb. He popped up everywhere, ran hard, and showed some great vision and passing.

Great player to have in the squad and I reckon any side in SL would love to have him on their books.

Me neither, I recall the odd dropped ball but that is about it, one of the most consistent solid players to ever wear our shirt.
