Not sure of your definition of being a fan, but by being in the Rovers end, wearing Rovers colours, cheers when rovers scored, id say they were rovers fans.
There maybe idiots on both sides of the river, but the evidence of yesterday ( bottles being throw onto the pitch, bottles being thrown at opposition fans, taking banned pyrotechnics into the stadium and throwing that on to the pitch, the alleged hospitalisation of a child And the defacing of a tribute to an ill former player) suggest some are more active at being complete bells.

| Look not to defend the indefensible here but a bit of context from a view in the north stand. Obviously I’m not sure where you guys sit so may not have seen noticed all the bother in the east stand corner, but that started from a bottle coming over from you way and hitting an old fella square on the head, knocked him over. That caused the escalation of them coming back and tit for tat.
Not that it matters, not that any of its right but these s across both teams and predominately from our lot yesterday is a joke, and I hope the club ban them for life. These scrotes with the smoke bomb must of been about 15, and no idea of the ramifications of their actions. I’m not drastically against smoke bombs but the lobbing of bottles is gonna do serious damage one day and hit the lino or ref once and it’s a points deduction. If I was Hudgell I’d be dropping a statement tomorrow saying get the hell out the club and if anyone is caught press charges, soon stamp it out. It’s slowly creeping back in and needs to be nipped in the bud now.
Well played yesterday btw

As a fellow Rovers fan , to say you are not drastically against smoke bombs , and that “ the lobbing of bottles will do serious damage one day hitting a lino or a ref “
Not only do you state you don’t have a problem with individuals using smoke bombs at games , You main concerning regarding the throwing of bottles is that they make make contact with a match official resulting in Rovers having a points reduction imposed by the RFL .
No thought for the young child injured by the bottle throwing yesterday . My wife and I stopped going to away matches years ago due to the drunken fans that seem too interested in alcohol and causing trouble rather than watching a rugby league game .
Trying not to be judgemental but you seem to be the type of fan our game can do without .

| Adam Maher is 1000 times the person than the scrote whoever did the graffiti will ever be. He wasn’t the biggest on the rugby pitch, but was one of the bravest.
Every club has idiots, but Rovers need to get a grip on some of their supporters, never mind tweeting how they appreciate each and every one of them (like they did yesterday)
There was a group of them walking across the footbridge after the game yesterday who had no conception in how to behave in public. The language used (in front of kids) from people old enough to know better was disgusting.
This was similar to after the England - New Zealand games last year when (on the footbridge again) a group of Rovers fans proceeded to sing foul mouth songs about Jake Connor (hope they enjoyed his first half display yesterday), with dozens of school ages kids about.
Every club has them, but Rovers seem to have a higher proportion than most. Just ignoring the problem is pretty pathetic to be honest.

| Decent rugby league supporters abhor this kind of bottle throwing, foul mouthed, flare igniting behaviour, it’s mindless uneducated hooligan activity. It blights our City, shames our people, and now we have allegedly injured one of our own children, those from outside of our City need little encouragement to look down on us, we may be divided by sporting beliefs, but loutish standards must not be defended no matter whom you support.

I agree with what you say, but, what about the very vociferous chant towards the end of the game, which is often heard, and partaken in by a large section of the South East corner. The one which goes Your F%ÂŁ("!g S**t.
Loads of young kids within hearing.
Also the one sung by both sets of fans which encourages the taking of a gun to shoot the opposition.
Plenty more examples of foul and abusive language used by fans everywhere, and (some) FC fans are as bad as any other clubs.
Family sport? your having a laugh.

Well done on completely missing the point there pal.
Let’s break down your idiotic post and try and simplify it for you.
Firstly, reading the other threads on here it seems the young child who had a mountain of stitches may or may not be a hoax, until confirmation and genuine news I probably won’t comment no. If that is the case I’d say the culprit should be arrested for ABH and sentenced.
With regards smokebombs, they are illegal in our current game so should not be used. My opinion is if used correctly as I’ve personally seen in European and South American sports they can add to the atmosphere and occasion. It’s not a drastically extreme opinion but while they are banned in our game they should not be used. Period.
Let me clarify the serious damage/points deduction comment. It can do serious damage to somebody which is point number 1,
Should always be about safety. Point number 2, hit a match official
And it’s the club getting fined and in trouble more, not the individual. You completely failed to address the point where I said it needs stamping out now, press charges and get these idiots out the game.
Comeonyouhull - no I’m not saying you started, I’m saying condemnation should be across both teams as there were some idiots in the east corner who caused a potentially horrible situation in a tense atmosphere. Thankfully some decent fans in that corner pointed them out and the police removed them.
I’ve followed the club home and away for years, barely missing a game. France to Canada to West Hull, and contribute financially in other areas while trying to remain relatively anonymous in the process. What really is water of a ducks back is a pseudonym of Jean Capdouze pretending to lecture other KR fans, grow up mate and stop ruining this site.

I didn't go, but if it happened these people should be prosecuted and banned. The "every club has idiots" deflection is typically convenient. As I said there is a pattern of missile throwing incidents with Hull KR's away support which you seem unwilling to acknowledge.

| Until Rovers fans stop with the “every club has them” mantra and start looking at themselves, nothing will change.
They have a history of throwing things. Just ask Mulhern.
Empty after shave bottles?. Jesus wept.

Is a quote from Tim Sheens good enough?
"Some idiot threw a bottle and it hit him, from our own supporters."
Although I do admit he is pretty clueless so he maybe got this wrong.

| Put the rivalry aside and stop point scoring, it doesn't nothing to help. Whether it is Hull or Rovers we all bare the brunt because we are all from the same city.
Everyone should grow up when it comes to getting rid of the idiots in our game which is alot more wide spread then most think. Warrington and Widnes seem to have an element and Leeds are no strangers to a scuffle.
Regardless of the shirt an idiot is an idiot and this idea of making the club pay is lunacy as the idiots dont care for the club's.
