| What's everyone's table predictions for next season then? Hate to say it but I can't look past Wigan for top spot. Unfortunately I think we'll drop down a peg or two. I think Castleford will have a great season. They've recruited well and if they have a better season than last with regards to injuries I'm expecting them to challenge. I'm going with;
1- Wigan
2- Warrington
3- Castleford
4- FC
5- St Helens
6- Leeds
7- Catalans
8- Leigh
9- Wakefield
10- Huddersfield
11- Widnes
12- Salford

| I think if we can get ourselves in the top four again, it'll have been another successful year. Leeds, Saints (who were garbage for half the year), Cas and probably Huddersfield will all improve, with the likes of Hull, Wire, Wigan and Cats once again making up the top 8. Leigh may be the surprise package in the top 8, but I can't see Widnes, Wakey or Salford doing anything.
A top four finish and a bit of a defence of the cup would be great. Get overselves 80 mins away from the grand final again and it's who turns up in the day for the semi.

| Wigan be hard to beat. What they did last year was outstanding tbf
Saints have recruited really well. If they don't take half a year to wake up they'll be in the mix
Wire have some real prop rotation now instead of hill having to carry them most games!
Pleased with our own recruitment. I'd pick wigan for top but I think these are the top four! In any order really. Not much betwween them imo

| Same top 4 as this term but Wigan on top. Cas 5th, Leeds 6th, cats 7th. Wakey, Leigh and Huddersfield scrap for the last place and Salford bottom.
I will say Wigan to win league again unfortunately and Salford to go down, KR or London up cos London looked decent at times this year.

| If HKR don't bounce straight back up, reckon they could be stuck down there for a long time. Hope to see them do it, just as long as it's not at our expense! How awful would Hull v Rovers MPG be?!

Really difficult to predict as there always seems to be one or two that completely underperform as we saw last year in Leeds & Hudds, and one or two that improve massively, us and Wakey last year.
Now that the Wembley thing is over with, priority number 1 for the club has to be to become Champions. A Top4 place and a decent showing in the cup are reasonable expectations to set as fans., with anything else a bonus.

| Yep same four but maybe a different order - Where people are getting Saints have recruited well is beyond me - i can see them struggling to get in the top eight!

Tommy Lee.
In all seriousness having a halfback in Matty Smith on the field will be a big help.

They nearly finished above us in the end and were asleep for half the season. And got bent over v wire in GF semi eliminator or could of made final
Douglas is a real work horse freeing up walmsley. Cos realistically amor and him were saints only props last year. And they've added walker. 1 of the best offloading props. Perfect for off the bench
Centre from storm is a massive upgrade on Turner
Lee is a decent squad bulker/slash interchange for roby
Matty smith. Not the best but a massive game manager and seldom injured.
Lomax missed most the year. If he stays fit and makinson that's 5 players that improve them on this year.

| Aside from Wigan I still think the top 8 is going to be difficult to predict, who would have had Leeds/Hudds out of the 8 this time last year?
Also if we aren't in the top 4 how will fans feel because it'd be a step back and not 'pushing on' as everyone would be wishing us too.
I think it really depends on how our halfbacks go and how JS goes, we could be anywhere from 1-6, I just really hope Radford can improve on some of his decision making which would give us a little more.
Also will we be as fortunate with injuries?
I'm going to go with 4th and semifinals of the CC

| If we have another good season with injuries and kelly goes well then we'll be top 4 but we won a lot of games by narrow margins last year which is unlikely to happen again so we need to improve our attack to make those loseable close games more comfortable wins. I think saints and cas will be better next season and wire and wigan at least as good so top 4 will be a big challenge

Just need to make sure we win our "free hits"....remember them? The games that the two points on offer apparently don't really matter...Leeds, Saints etc. The games that would have got us a home semi-final.

| We have the squad to win everything imo, but there are a few things we need to get right/go our way.
Firstly we need another decent run with injuries. Last year we had close to a clean bill of health pretty much all year. I don't expect us to get off that lightly again, but as long as it doesn't get out of hand we have pretty good depth. And that leads on to the second thing. Radford needs to rotate the squad alot better than he did last year. Especially if we go deep in the cup again. Alot of players just looked burnt out by the end of the year.
Thirdly Kelly needs to fit in well. We play quite a structured game, if he can slot in and do his thing without disrupting that too much then he can take our attack up a couple of notches. If it doesn't work it could cause more harm than good.
Most important is the mentality of the players. Last year we got on a roll and developed a real never say die attitude. We showed unbelievable resolve at times and won a few games that we really never had any right to win. My fear is that with a trophy in the cabinet and a good season behind us there won't be quite the same will to win as there was last year. Every season there is someone who puts a great year together when it wasn't expected, that's the easy bit. Real champion teams do it year in year our.
If everything falls into place I genuinely believe we have the best squad in the league and I think we'll win another trophy. Otherwise we'll still go ok, but it will be a step down from last year.
