Super League fixtures for 2017 are due to be published on Sunday.

HDM reckon the Magic Weekend will stay in Newcastle, but no clue who'll we'll play.

This would be the earliest they have been out for a while, its usually mid November when they get released

leeds would be my guess

think we will be away first seeing as we were at home last season for the first game

I hope we are on the Saturday for magic, really wanted to get there this year but couldn't cos of when it was.

I was thinking the same. I think they will go back to the Wigan vs Saints derby and have Warrington play Leigh. All other fixture to stay the same.

Think It'd be unfair to give Warrington a promoted team given they finished runners up. Id go with:

Wigan - Saints
Hull - Leeds
Warrington - Cas
Huddersfield - Catalan
Widnes - Wakefield
Salford - Leigh

Its hard to pair Leeds and Huddersfield as they were poor last year but on paper they are top 8 teams.

Cas are the new Rovers, could play them 5 times next year, pre season, Magic, twice in the league and the super 8's

.... and CC and Grand Final playoffs etc etc

Maybe the worst team for us to play this many times, seem to have the number on us.

By far the better set of fixtures on the Saturday IMO.

The Sunday could be a record low crowd for the Magic Weekend, only Leeds will have a half decent following.

True, but its good fixtures for us IMO, we are back on saturday teatime, Saints will make it a contest, and Wigan - Wire will be worth staying for.

Rfl putting all their eggs in the Saturday basket. Still don't get why we're playing saints.

Its pretty much done on last years league placings, the only difference is Cas are playing Leeds (but you wouldn't expect Leeds to be so bad again and it makes it a local derby) instead of Catalan, and Catalan face Huddersfield both of whom don't bring any fans anyway.
