Isn't great as props, but with the way Thompson has been playing it isn't the worst props we have ever had.

I still think we have a chance of winning, it would be great to get a win and then have Carvell and Paea come in for the cup game.

I'll go with that but definiteley Horne on the bench. He offers more position wise and Yeamo could do with a spell on the sidelines. If Radders can drop Crooks then he can drop Yeamo as far as I'm concerned.

Not sure about Yeaman, had an awful game last week, but apart from that has started the season Ok, Crooks has been poor in just about every game this year.

Salford have some strong backs in Sau, Gleeson and Meli, not sure Crooks would cope with their strength.

I am aware of that. I was merely pointing out that subbing Yeamo last week isn't a guarantee he'll be dropped this week.

Whichever 17 he picks I just hope they play with the pride, passion, committment (and basic rugby skills) that were sadly lacking last Sunday.

I am clinging to the hope that they can't play as bad as that for two games on the trot.

It's a good point and Yeaman could bounce back but I'd go with Crooks and hope that he can do something good and get his confidence on track early. If he can he's as likely as anyone to win the game for us. If he doesn't then you could always move Whiting there with Horne to LF. Could even do that from the start? He went with Whiting in the centres against Bradford.
