| Thought I'd start a thread up to talk about this Friday's game.
Who's going? Will we win? Who should play?
I will be there and I'm backing FC to win but think the Bulls could prove a hard opposition to face given the adversity they're facing at the moment. I've noticed in the last two games that Rankin has been taken off and Heremeia has played in the halves. Is it maybe time to give Miller a try alongside Horne?

| Rankin should be dropped for me and bring Azza in at 6, he changed the game when he came on yesterday.
Miller on the bench and bring him on for Houghton and move Azza to 9. Guessing Carvell is fit id go with something like
Shaul
Talanoa
Yeaman
Crooks
Lineham
Heremaia
Horne
Paea
Houghton
Carvell
Pitts
Ellis
Westerman
Miller
Bowden
Feka
Whiting

I'm looking forward to seeing Tuson in action but I think you're right. The players we've used so far have done pretty well so far and Tuson may find that he'll have to wait for an injury or drop in form to get in the 17. It's brilliant to be in a position where we have a good squad depth.

| What happened to the "its your place to lose" philosophy. If they're playing well they should be left in place.

| I can't comment on yesterdays game as i haven't seen it yet, but on Heremia has proved in the past that he isn't good enough to play at halfback long term, he is Ok for the odd game when we have injuries, but he shouldn't be starting there regulary.
He is an excellent hooker and should play there.
If Rankin isn't producing the goods, then give Miller a game.
Personally I would give Rankin another game, but he has to step up in this game or I would be looking at replacing him.
I'd bring back Carvell if he is fit, I'd also swap heremia and Houghton up to give the Bulls something else to think about.

| Same team for me, Houghton is the top tackler in the team.
I would give Rankin one more chance but he needs to offer more all the good kicks downfield came from Horne and Houghton.
If we can get the last tackle errors cut out we will be too strong for a lot of team, expecting a win on friday night as I think we will be well up for it.

| Rankin has the quality, just needs more game time. he is only young and hasn't been here long. we have to give players a chance to get used to our game, our style etc.
Stay with the same side for me.

| think hull need to give miller a chance,we are still suffering from the lack of a regular no 7.saints identified they needed a 7 and went out and got one.i think rankin needs to play no 6.heremaia is a good interchange hooker.hes been tried in the halves for a full game and goes missing.

Carvell for Pitts if he 100% although Pitts did nothing wrong but not sure who you could drop to bring the others in.
TBH I would send them both to Doncaster

| Well this is my first post so here goes. Play Miller drop Rankin. See what he can do. If he isn't up to it then let him go.
Oh and for gods sake don't sign Hall.

| The best thing about Heremaia IMO is his impact around the ruck. If we start him in the halves & then move him to 9 after 20-30 minutes he's not going to have the same impact. We need to play people in their proper positions which means Heremaia needs to stay away from the halves.

Miller in for Rankin, should be enough to beat Bradford, would give Carvell, Tuson & Watts another week.

| I think it's too early to start chopping and changing. The only change I would make would be to bring back Carvell if he's fit.

| Got to agree with you. Carvell has only missed one game and should come back into the fold if he's passed fit.
It's such a long time since Tuson and Watts had a game that surely the dual reg option is the ideal route to get them back up to match fitness without the danger of them breaking down in a first team SL game. Seems like common sense and isn't that one of the main benefits that other teams use the DR system for! Besides, who would we drop, certainly not Bowden who's pushing Pea for the tag of being our best prop as the moment.

| personally i would stick with the same team barring a few changes, too many people jumping on the back of a player cos he has had 2 average games, for me the last two games have been tough, we need to give rankin time to settle in, he is only young and we as fans do not need to be degrading him at all, its only 3 games in and already we slagging our players off, may get shot down for this but heres my team i would go with;
shaul
talanoa
yeaman
crooks
lineham
rankin
horne
paea
houghton
bowden
ellis
tuson(after all he was brought in to replace tickle)
westerman
carvell
feka
azza
whiting
need to give certain players time and dropping is not the answer this early in the season.

| Thought we all wanted the team picked on form? Rankin was off form at Saints and poor against Wire, we have other options, why not try them?
If he has a decent game against Bradford does that give him another stay of execution? How long do we let poor form go on for?

Pitts hardly cemented his position in the team with standout display did he.?
Although he was steady I would be looking for a bit more bite in defence and smarts in attack than Pitts offered.
Can Tuson add that.?
We won't know until we play him will we.
