Another Bank holiday weekend.....another MASSIVE game for us and what......

It's piissed it down for all but about 2 of our home games so far

could well be a sub 12k gate this, weather and other events taking place, was always a rediculous decision to play this afternoon, regardless of the weather.

When should we have played and what else is on?

A lot of people say stuff like this. Should matches only be played when there's absolutely nothing else going on in the country?
Maybe we should go for 3am kick offs

In all seriousness, the weather won't suit either team today and the game will be played a lot slower. I still think we will win though.

We don't all want to sit at home watching Jubilee events on the TV for four days solid.

I don't want to watch 4 minutes of it.

Today's game is part of the celebrations - plenty going on in West Park before the game too.

Standee's got his plastic union jack bowler hat on,having a cuppa out of his jubilee mug and has got telly on whilst he waves his flag and shouts "we love you Liz"......if he wants to sit there and watch that $hite,he can do...me,im off to the pub,then get drenched and watch fc.

Couldn't tell you just exactly how many times I have been to the KC, but its well past 100 events. I have sat in every stand at some point, and not once have I got wet through it raining



St's will bring a fair few today, I'd expect there to be 12500+ today.

If anything the Jubilee should make people want to get out of the house and go to a Rugby match.
Wimps the lot of em, I remember trudging to the Boulevard in 5inches of snow wearing only a cotton Hull shirt and a pair of my dads old boots. Them were the days.

How much you goona charge the Warrington fans today for that "stand and veiw"?

Far too much, I've said before that no fan should have to pay more than a tenner,
it will be interesting to hear what's planned for the south stand in the summer,

No you don't and I don't because we are FC fans and go whenever a game is on. The problem is that there aren't enough of us. What's needed is to attract another 2500/3000 or more and it is less likely that we will do that a) when it's p1ssing down as the OP says and b) when there is such a big event going on at exactly the same time. The weather is bad luck , I think that playing the game this afternoon is bad planning. Then again maybe the weather will push a few from a street party in the rain to the comparitive shelter of the KC?

But today's big events are in London. If people would rather sit on their s in front of Sky News all day then they are also likely to find some excuse to not go to the rugby on a Friday night/Saturday evening.

I'd have worn some trousers as well, if I were you.
