Right decision IMO, Phelps will play on adreniline alone this week against his former club. Harsh on Turner, but he will be pushing the centres for a place in the team.

Turner has been crap at centre this season! Everyone blames Will Sharp for the defensive errors, but his centre has been a liability!

I seem to remember a lot of people complaining about is signing Obst and then sitting him on the bench that night. I know Phelps has travelled a long way but the sooner he gets into it the better and his inclusion on Sunday can only be seen as a positive thing from where I'm sitting.

Obst had played rugby the week before for Wakey, therefore we knew he did not need a hit out.

Obst was in the UK and had played games, Phelps has spent the last few months on Twitter, not comparable.

i think its a good idea for him to start, wigan is a team that we would have to be very lucky to beat on the best of days so why not give him a chance, if hes fully fit and thinks he's up to it good luck to him, also it always adds abit of spice to the game when you play against your old team, would love for him to score against them.

He maybe fully fit but he is definitely not match fit....So we decide to play a player who has no match fitness againt the best team in the comp...makes sense

What's to compare? He's here, he wants to play and so should play. Looking at it realistically it's a game I doubt we can win so what have we got to lose by playing him? He'll then have had a run-out under his belt before next weekend - he should also pick up a bit of match fitness by chasing a few Wigan players around on Sunday
