Absolutly AWESOME ! massive performance , to be honest though you could say this for the whole pack they all put in a full shift today .
And so what if we lost today most teams will loose to the wolves this year so its not really two points dropped , but still a good effort !

He's been the standout over Easter for me.
Led us back into the game on Friday with his attitude, and immense again today.

Would say it was the best game he has ever had for us in all honesty. His work rate in defence was superb which you dont normally get from him.

He has defended like that all season this year, seems a different player. Maybe the influence of Ogre and Fitz?

I mentioned to my Dad when the players were warming up, he looks the trimmest he has in his time here ATM. Still about as big, but just about all muscle now. Awesome game, so hard to bring down, tackling non-stop, another 2 years please.

His defence has improved this season as he seems fitter and isn't have to do alot of the grunt work he did last season but i think he stepped it up to another level today.

Yup, get him signed soon. If he was any younger i would of given him 3 or even 4 years. There isn't another player like him in Super League.

Perhaps to straddle two threads, but I think both Manu and Whiting have been exceptional all season - fully committed, rarely making errors and always seeming to have a bit extra in both attack and defence. Today's hit by Willie when forcing the Wire player (couldn't see exactly who it was) back over the line for a drop out has already become the stuff of legend in our house. It started off as knocking him back 5-10 yards but now we've got home we have got Willie's charge starting from just inside the half-way line and carrying twelve Wire players with him!

Didn't Peter Sharp say when he came to Hull, he didn't think he could do 8 minutes, let alone 80.

I had Manu at 25-1 to score the first try, so he's not my favourite bloke at the minute!


Seriously though, good performance again and I'd agree with the posts on here that he needs signing on a long term deal (along with Whiting).

Quality player should have his contract renewed asap.

The guys a absolute beast I thought he was was your best player today by quite some margin always seems to cause us probelms does Manu. Your guys did fantasticly well today considering the injuries you had and Longy going of early in the game. You would have beat a fair few teams today but we (Wire) look a totally different team this year I really enjoyed my visit and I wish you well for the rest of the season apart from when your visiting our place
