Injured his groin last night in training and going for a scan on monday....another injury picked up by him.....getting to be very injury prone now and may be time at looking to bring in a 6 as well as other positions.

We have done well considering we have had 6+7 missing for most of season but wouldn't like too do it again next season must be a top priority

It pains me to say it, but we need to stop relying on Rich. I think alot of us are clouded to his effectiveness and influence over recent seasons because he's "our local boy done good" and we just want him to get back to where he was.

It's time to call time and get a fit, hungry 6; then if Horne is fit he offers depth and cover to the squad. His days of being a frontliner are over.

We should bring in a 6. Rich is a good club man and is very versatile he could play in number of positions and be the utility squads need

Then why is every SL club eager to play their youngsters in that division rather than their respective Academy's?. Personally , I think he could step up . Hall on the other hand has proved he isn't good enough for SL.

Personally I think he's past it and should be one below Whiting in the pecking order as a utility player and that's it...

yup, it pains me to say it because like all hull fans i have a massive respect for horney, i would say he is worth keeping but i also agree he should not be first choice and maybe if we did find a first choice 6 then less game time might give rich a new lease of life. its a shame because he is at the age where he should be at the height of his game.

on performances this year and for the past 2 years or so and the constant injuries he seems to be picking up then i agree he should be nothing more then a squad player but id just like to see him next season have a full season playing alongside longy and then judge him on wether hes good enough anymore.

He should have been given either a shorter contract when we re-signed him in 2008 or one based on appearances. No doubting his commitment but his inability to get on the pitch is hampering us massively

We still have to pay him his full salary though, plus they're not likely to pay 3 half backs £100k+ a season

Agar's ability to bring in good key position players hasn't been so bad and he's more than likely looking at six/seven for the coming year so lets hope there's something in the pipeline soon because I agree as good as a player and servant to the club Richard has been he just seems to be behind the races now.
