thats a very tough ask to play 2 quality sides and a decent team in the space of 9 days but aslong as the boys do there best then im sure wheel do okay

We always seem to get the ty end of the stick at easter. WTF can't we play salford or crusaders at home on easter Monday?

The consolation is that Hull and Leeds agreed to move the game from the 9th to the Sunday, otherwise it would've been Rovers on Good Friday, Warrington on Easter Monday and Leeds on the Friday.

Its a long time since Hull played Leeds away on a Sunday afternoon, the managers of the Skyrack / Original Oak et al will be rubber their hands as we type!!!!

It is a tough few games, but its all relative. Leeds have Bradford on the Thursday night before Good Friday. They then have to travel to France for the Les Cats game on the Monday to then face us on 11 April.

Personally I'd be happy to take 4 points out of those 3 games.

i think its great weve got these during easter, over the years the easter period has provided the league with shock wins like salford beating leeds at leeds last season. players are going to be fatigue ect for all sides so who knows anything can happen

I really don't think this is good for any club at all. I'm told that it takes about a week to recover from a game (I think Longy said it in his book?) So playing three times in just over a week will result in injuries for all teams. I'm not complaining as a fan, its great watching all that rugby, but how would we all feel if O'Meeley, Fitzgibbon and Long all got long term injuries during this spell?

Which makesit a level playing field as its the same for all the teams.

I don't like it either mate, we certainly need to use the whole squad for those matches and Long should definately not play all 3.

We have a big enough squad this year to play 3 games in 9 days it will be hard but all the teams are in the same situatuion.

on the flip side....and assuming we don't pick to too many injuries, this will allow us to rotate the squad more and give valuable game time to

danny houghton (even berro can't do 3 x 80min in a week)

and maybe jack briscoe, dennis tuffour or reece lynne

the three games shouldn't be so much of a problem for us; every other team has to do it and i'd rather be in our position than, say, rovers. besides we should be firing on all cylinders by april

Got a feeling Burnett and Moa might play some part next week.. Think the only way Briscoe JNR, tuffour or Lynne will play will be if we get a massive injury crisis
