If we got rid of the entire squad and replaced it with Australia’s first team, we'd still struggle to make the play offs!

The whole set up needs picking up and shaking. It's as if the club doesn't mean anything to those that are in positions to make decisions. The club seems passionless from the top down, we need strong personalities, instead we follow a seemingly ‘faceless’ club. Virtually every time I leave the KC I do so disappointed, not because we lost (which is usually the case), but because it’s as if I’ve just attended a funeral! Like it or not if this ‘trend’ continues we will fall well behind our rivals, especially those across town (who are run by passionate people).

horne brothers,dowes,tickle,berro,yeaman?,reardon (if he dont do bird),tom briscoe.

There's half a dozen or so I'd still reserve judgement on, and getting on for double figures I'd ditch personally. Whilst a scrum half is the most urgent of our problems I think it would still be far from a complete solution, we have too many 'competent' players and not enough who excel.

some of these might surprise a few,but this is just my opinion.i'd also get rid of agar and sharp,but it won't happen.hull will never pay out for a top class coach,and certainly won't get rid of both of them together,which as we all know jon sharp is our coach in waiting

Getting rid of all of that mediocrity would give us a good amount of salary cap which would enable us to finally go out and find some real quality in the halves and 3/4's and also get a couple of forwards who actually GO FORWARD. I think that's why we call them forwards anyway ??

Dowes, Cusack, Radford, Tickle must be the least go-forward starting pack in SL.

I'd have said dowes has been the one thats stood out more lately and for some reason we only play when tickle drives the ball in,radford should have gone 2 seasons ago and kingys just static all the time,its as though they know theyre gunna get picked everyweek so dont bother with the effort.

Him and Jon Sharp would be the 2 i'd offload.

My sentiments as well,there is nobody promoting the club like they used to.The club has lost it's soul and we need a media whore who can raise our profile.We have nobody in the club who can do it,we can't even seem to get our coach on the live game's on a weekend,summarising.The club need another Shane Richardson type who is media wise.Too many anonymous people at the club,Coach,Board and mainly the team.The board seem to to like wallowing in mediocrity because every time we step up they are never prepared to go that extra yard and instead settle for the cheap option.Think this season could be a defining moment in the long suffering fans thoughts of buying next season's pass.Times are difficult and if we are like this at the end of the season, next season could be a bad one in terms of pass sales.Why oh why can't we just buy quality players and reap the dividends of more bums on seats.Rant over and lets get behind the lads tonight.

Hang on. Your getting rid of 7 players, none of which will be the top earners at the club, and you think that free's up enough space on the cap to bring in "real quality" in the halves, 3/4's and a couple of forwards? Seriously?

Salary cap, limits what you can do in assembling a squad. You need to spend the money wisely, but you can't just buy success anymore. How many more bums on seats can be added potentially and realistically? Hull FCs support is already very good now, by historical standards.

As for Hetherington, I'm glad she is yours and not ours... now. However she came in at a time when you were struggling financially and on the pitch, had a silly name and were playing at a ground that had seen better days. The progress has been dramatic in her time with you, though of course how much of that credit she deserves is open to debate.

Players, coaches and directors are fair game in a way that fans, who pay the bills ateotd, are not. However, constantly demanding dramatic change every time you hit a bump in the road can be destabilizing. This isn't a partisan point, because the same thing could happen just as easily at Rovers when the current upward trend ends, as it is bound to do one day. Passion from fans is a good thing, but you can have too much of a good thing and it can cloud judgement. Look at Newcastle United or effect of buying 'success' on Wigan Warriors.

All very well and good but when the club holds onto players that maybe make 3 or 4 games a season for a couple ov seasons and have players that arent fully commited because of the security of thier place in the squad then its time for a big shake up throughout as its becoming stale
