One in, One out and maybe a chance for turner then (How far off is Crooks in regard of a first team call up ?) . At least we wont be making several positional changes like we have done in the past.

I don't dislike that idea. It would probably be our safest option defensively.

Although I've been a critic of him, I still think that it would probably only seem fair to give Turner first crack at it and replace him if he doesn't improve his defence.

I said this back when the rumours were around, but if Yeaman is injured I would play Whiting at centre with Turner interchanging the back row. I think that Turner's defensive frailties wouldn't be as exposed in the back row as they would be at centre as he won't be making as many one-on-one tackles.

Next choice after Whiting would be Crooks, so if Martin or Whiting were out I'd give Crooks his shot.

Turner will play centre and rightly so. Whiting is needed in the back row and Crooks isn't ready yet.

Turner will play,Gentle said he will not move players around to fill a position so Horney will not go to centre. Whting to stay at interchange loose man with Aspinwall.

As I said on another thread, moving Whiting would be the last thing I'd do. He's playing well in the back row and deserves the chance to establish a settled position.

We are not going to win on Friday anyway so i dont understand putting the op off. He was rubbish against Wakey anyway, for the now obvious reason. Turner is rhubarb and will be gone at the end of season. Theres no mileage in playing him at centre.

Also whats the difference in Horne playing out of position at centre, this accomodates Ellis in his rightful position, rather than him playing hooker. Either way, it's one positional change.

Yeaman will play but putting Crooks infront of Turner is plain stupid. I assume you haven't seen him play this year ?

Scott - You obviously don't understand my reasoning for this. I'm not saying Crooks is better than Tuner now, just saying there is absolutley no mileage in Turner.

We got the wrong lad from Salford, both Myler and Ratchford are class players, we got the rubbish.

Don't think Myler's that good, personally. Mainly a poacher in a high-scoring team.

I can see what you are sayimg and would have liked to see Crookes play, but I haven't seen him play that much so if people who have seen him say he isnt ready, then maybe he isn't.

Gentle's main job is to pick the strongest side to win games and if Yeaman is out and he doens't want to move people about then it has to be Turner,

Hopefully Yeaman will play on Friday, the have his op missing games against Widnes, cas and Bulls.

In the long run Crooks will be the better option of course but he isn't ready.

Myler is a support player and Ratchford has started the season well.
