Do we all love Hookers. Having his best season IMO, always been a very good tackler and looks better out of dummy half and has a good kicking game.

He's a better 9 than a 7 that is for sure, appears to be performing well for you recently and maybe winning some of his critics over

True and when you see he is still only 21 some players don't make the breakthough until that age.

Been arguably our best player for the last few weeks. He has been solid in defence and his distribution and kicking out of dummy half have been spot on. Certainly worth his place ahead of Houghton right now.

Thought Lee and Houghton interchanges worked well against Salford.

Been saying it's his best position for 2 years.

I remember getting slated on here for the last couple of years when ive been saying that Lee is the long term replacement for Berro. Nice to see him coming on and proving his doubters wrong. Early days but i really think Lee and Houghton can be our Cunningham and Roby.

fair play to tommy he must be doing something right they all give him plenty of chances to try and find his best position

In all seriousness, he's having his best season by some distance and I hope it continues. He'll never be in the same class as Roby or Cunningham though.

Best hookers I have ever come across were in Russia.
£20 for 2 hours and built like super models.

Can't knock Tommy for effort,always gives 100%,but unfortunately he isn't going to be our long term anything.

Tommy has a great all round skill set and tackles way above his weight. His improvement this season is down to sheer hard work and his determination in the face of all the flack from the airheads is something to be applauded. He will be a great asset to the club for many years to come.

I've yet to be convinced that this is the case. He's standing out at the moment because he's putting the effort in and playing fairly consistently in a side where many are not. All credit to him for that, but I don't know if he has what it takes to be one of the best in the longer term.

I still don't reckon he'd get a first 17 place in too many SL sides if they had fully fit squads. He'll end up being reasonably priced cover in Hull's team, or a first choice for someone like Salford/Celtic/Widnes/Halifax.

He's first choice in Hulls side and ALL their hookers are fit
