I’ve never really bought the Connor to the NRL rumour, I’m sure sides have looked into the possibility of getting him over there though.

He’s been pretty open and brave to talk about how losing his dad at a young age hit him really hard and how it’s something he is still dealing with. The fact he himself somewhat recently became a dad and how close he is to his family probably means moving to the other side of the world isn’t gonna happen.

I remember him saying in an interview that he considered himself a "homebody" and had no ambitions to go down under.
