Thought this was worth it's own thread, academy kicking off against Leeds, Hull look strong with both Hookem and McNamara at halfbacks
its live on youtube, key an eye on Sinfields son ( I think it's his son) who is meant to be a top prospect.

I need to watch it again, as was watching it on my phone with no commentary, so it was hard to tell who was who. But as a team they played really well, defended well against a bigger and more physical Leeds team, didn't concede until the last 10 minutes.

The ‘Outstanding’ rated Centre of Excellence boasts four main squads – reserves, academy, development and scholarship – plus a college team, wheelchair rugby league, LDRL and women’s, whilst the club also coach the University of Hull rugby league team which offers links into higher education.
Over 40 full-time and volunteer staff were recently joined by new Head of Emerging Talent, Michael Shenton, whilst [uthree regional development centres are also set to be announced this autumn[/u, alongside additional personnel and new facilities.
