Quote ="hesslefan"Connor can be annoying but I see little difference between him and Scarsbrook in their approach to the game, except the latter doesn’t get penalised as much. Scarsbrook consistently talks back to the referee. He has hands all over the ball player at the play the ball. Even when marker when the opposition are restarting after, say, a knock on he has hands on the man with the ball. Referees just ignore this.
Best team won but with a fair share of luck and some favourable runs of decisions from the ref. As soon as Hull got some similar decisions - when Saints were three scores up and after 50 minutes - we scored. Hull should have been more composed with the ball in hand but they were the ones having to push the game after the above.'"
Main difference is LMS (at best) is an above average plodding forward, he’s not being touted as potentially one of the best backs and a superstar in the League. Connor has the skill and level of intelligence (maybe) to not have to play these little games.....

Quote ="Riderofthepalehorse"I’ve not watched it back, but on the Griffin incident, it seemed obvious he was incapacitated, and the time lapse for the Frenchman sneakily scoring felt like slow motion, was it just my imagination, or could the referee have stopped the game immediately for our players welfare.'"
Every player and ex player, your coach and every neutral fan has agreed that playing to the whistle was the right thing for Fages to do, however the Referee could have blown and stopped the game so your issue is with him, not Fages. There was nothing sneaky about it, he just did his job as a professional sportsman.
