Quote ="Isaiah"I am with oooh Gravy on this. It is a catch22.
If Last cannot turn things around by the end of this season (and I sincerly hope he can) then were are as good as done, unless we get a decent coach who can turn us around.
The question is, how much could we lose by keeping A Last if he fails?
Is what we could perhaps lose, be more than what we would need to pay for a successful coach?
The cost of failure could/would last for quite a few years.
I recon we could well lose a couple of thousand season members anyway regardless of how well we do or don't do. (just my wild guess)
I doubt there would be much IAKOW next year.
So we would be depending on walk ups to keep us alive.'"
I disagree. I think AP is not of the mind to gamble when the situation is so tight.
Where will the funds come from for a new coach. Are we expecting him to remortgage his home to roll the dice on a new coach when if there's a second COVID wave and no furlough the club is doomed regardless?
I also think that AP knows he has some of the most unflinchingly loyal fans on the planet in his can base. People talk about IAKOW but I genuinely believe that once the essential bills are paid there are many FC fans who'd give all their disposable income to the cause.
