I agree, and this is something Radford has got right, it has needed doing for years.
Happy to see him released personally, he is never going to be the player it was thought he could be.
What are the outstanding facets of his game? He takes it to the line and links play well but I can't think of anything else he is particularly good at. He lacks any real power or mobility. He certainly works hard albeit with a few crucial defensive errors.
But for probably half the price, Danny Washbrook can work hard, and if he is dropped he won't throw his toys out of the pram and ring up his agent telling him to get him a new club
