Quote ="knockersbumpMKII"Those 'facts' as I clearly outlined upthread are one of a coach not able to make decisions to impact on a game were he (effectively) left out two interchange forwards (by having Crooks on the bench & not playing Hadley)
It was either because we would be well in front and they could be introduced late into the match(on the premise that they needed some protection/confidence building) as was one suggestion, OR, if that wasn't the plan the coach just thought our forwards/team were going to do so well against a team that had only lost one match that we really only needed 15 players not 17.
I'm not sure which of these were the plan but it's pretty damning either way. If people can't see or don't want to see that that is a massive error not only before but during the game and one that a coach should not be making then that's up to them.'"
I think a fair few people have criticised this. Myself included. However, I would argue that even the best make mistakes once in awhile.
Quote ="knockersbumpMKII"However I can plainly see those decisions/indecisions are bilge, ones borne out of inexperience and inability to forumulate the thought process to avoid such.'"
I don't think anyone is denying he is inexperienced. But because he is inexperienced most people are at least willing to give him a chance before writing him off completely.
Quote ="knockersbumpMKII"But as you say, everyone has opioons on what they see, I've heard/seen nothing to suggest what I've written is incorrect.'"
I've seen nothing yet to suggest he will be a terrible coach in the long run. In fact I have been quite impressed with a lot of what I have seen so far even if the results haven't quite gone our way.
Quote ="knockersbumpMKII"Don't get me wrong, I do want us to win (& I've stated we have the talent to win some matches with no coach at all) but Radford has come out with statements that he doesn't follow through with, has made statements that stretch the truth (re goalkicking coach etc) and plainly cannot see that playing players out of position just does not work, odd squad selections as well as the extremely poor decisions during the game.'"
Are you saying that when we lose Radders must take the blame but when we win it's nothing to do with him and his tactics? Sorry, doesn't work like that for me.
Regarding his statements, selections and decision making I again refer to the fact that he is relatively new to the job. He's entitled to make mistakes as it is a learning curve for him and nobody is perfect. Seven games in is not the time to be deciding that he is no good.
Quote ="knockersbumpMKII"That he has left Millar out I've not bagged him for because he sees the kid constantly, I have to respect his decisions that cannot be immediately seen to be wrong, however those decisions that are as obvious as the nose on your face I'll be none too impressed and want to point out/discuss as is my right.
That people like WIZEB that abuse forum members with swearing and others that make inane comebacks that have ZERO substance because they cannot or are not able to rebuff the things I've said won't stop me or others posting what they beleive and can see to be true.
'"
I don't agree with anyone abusing anyone. As I've said, you're entitled to an opinion and this message board is there for people to express opinions and discuss them just as we are doing. But right now anything you say is for the most part just that. An opinion. Just like what I say is.
Radders cannot or rather should not be judged and hung out to dry so early into the season.
