To be fair to the much maligned playoff system that we currently have it does throw up alot of different potential match ups, it's just the issue with 2nd and 3rd tending to always repeat fixture in week 1 and 3 and the club call.

Higher placed Loser v Lower placed Winner
Lower placed Loser v Higher placed Winner

So if Wigan, Leeds, Catalan, Rovers won it would be

Leeds v Rovers
Wigan v Catalan
