Quote ="Chris28"An interesting pic on twitter shows Hall was offside by as much as Green for his interception. Both tries cancelled, we still win. Jobs a good 'un'"
Quote ="Kosh"Had a good look at the footage again last night. Hall is at least a metre offside when the ball is played (easy to spot as he should have been behind his try line) and the pass for Brown's try is clearly forward.
So we win either way.'"
Saying that, I'm watching last night's Boots N All, and they're discussing Gaskell's interception try against Widnes.
Jon Sharp has basically said,
=#FF0000[i"We haven't refered interceptions to the video referee since 2006, when the referees went full time. If there is a player offside from an interception, it doesn't go to the VR, unless the touch judge intervenes."[/i.
Bomber chipped in and said he thinks every interception should go to the VR, so if that was the case, Hall's try would've obviously been disallowed, as would Gaskell's.
Begs the question, why didn't the touch judges spot either of them?
