There's no fan of any sport that should be anything but outraged with the actions of West Yorkshire Plod. The reality is that they're just playing silly buggers because they're sulking over the action that Leeds brought against them for policing costs(they lost the appeal today and will now have to refund Leeds United £1m).

There is no real rivalry between Hull City and Huddersfield(other than they're both Yorkshire clubs), there has been no trouble at our previous visits there and there wasn't a single Hull City fan arrested for an alcohol related offence last season, making a mockery of the claims that the risk of heavy drinking is a reason for all the draconian restrictions.

Ironic that we have to put up with this nonsense, despite there being no real risk, while you lot can do as you please and didn't you have your own bit of handbags at their place a while back?

Just because you didn't know about it doesn't mean it wasn't already known.

If they aren't doing it because of costs, why else would they?

I kwow its to do with costs - Hello some of us are on this planet - but West Yorks Police only lost the case today - am I right in thinking the Hull City issue has been going on for two weeks.

They'd already lost the case months ago.

Today was an appeal against that decision, one that they little/no chance of overturning.

Except they've created more of a problem for themselves than they've solved.

Ok I accept they lost the appeal/case today but I still contend that Hull City v Hudds have absolutley nothing to do with this - but I will always bow to my elders and betters and then withdraw
