I kind of agree with you. He did commit crimes and did so knowingly and has apparently being involved in other incidients as well, including some that were prejudice in nature - but at the same time I reconise that nobody is perfect, he was a fantasic player who did give his all for Hull FC and has paid his "price" through his inprisionment and severe damage to his career, which I'm sure would have otherwise probably flourished. For me, the fact that he has got to the point of having sucidial thoughts means that he has paid a price to far (if that makes sense).
I see both sides of the argument - while I certainly don't want to be his mate, I don't hate him and I have a respect for him as a player and as somebody who (apparently) is trying to turn things around. FWIW, I wish him the best.
