Great read Wilf. I too found myself smiling like some idiot at the aimless, disorganised rabble that our mercurial coach had sent onto the pitch. I hope to god that someone from 'upstairs' at our club reads your diary, your measured tones may give them an inkling of the feeling on the terraces.
Spot on as usual - I am really low at present like a lot of fans, but for a few minutes while I read your diary my passion returns and i remember the good times again.
Thanks for another great read Wilf, and your continuing record of the soap opera/train wreck that is Hull FC!
Friday was a depressing experience, I couldn't get to the pub quick enough. Hull FC fans, you could argue, are loyal to a fault. But most of us have reached the end of the road. If the FC powers that be haven't realised that by now, they never will.
Read the Diary late on Monday night as usual and the (Karoo) connection dropped so I couldn't post until tonight.
Great read this week Wilf (as usual) and I even got a mention.
