So many young kids there yesterday who normally would have missed the game due to Friday nights.
Come next week 4 of or top 5 atts this season will not have been played on Friday night. Its also worth noting our top Friday attendance was the first. Why after a half decent season have we failed to build on that crowd?
Recession obviously has effected some of it but we are clearly struggling at times to attract the walk ups.

Thoughts ..... Without this getting into a slanging match.

For me we need to re-think the "only Friday's" policy.

it was always going to be a big crowd against leeds,regardless of when it was played.same with next week's game.

Not again.

Attendances have gone up since the switch to Fridays, as they did at Leeds and Wigan.

A shame for those who miss out but you will never please everyone. Sunday games especially in summer would mean people staying away for trips out with the family, barbecues etc. Remember the 9,000 crowds back in 2003-2006?

As for the underlined part, the games would have been the highest if they'd been on a Friday.

Those 4/5 attendances you refer to would of had the same crowd, if not more, had they been played on a Friday.

I actually have a 4 year old child and would therefore prefer Sunday rugby but the attendances Hull are acheiving vindicate the switch.
