The lad was starting to look half ok, however he really should not be considered for National duties.
Well not until he has a season behind him and or he no longer plays for a bottom three side.

He would benefit greatly from a move to one of the top four, playing week in week out with a better quality of team mate.

Is that apart from the 2 that he picked in his actual team?

Very true. I am surprised that against such weak opposition he didnt take a risk and pick a couple of your boys. Maybe he is saving them for the Aussies.

The current Aussie backline could make or break a few reputations this autumn.

The Aussie backline will rip to pieces any back-line that Tony Smith picks. They have done so consistantly since the great backline of 1992 of Steadman, Eastwood, Powell, Newlove, Offiah, Schofield and Edwards.
That backline would tear our current backline to pieces in my opinion.
