Pretty good assessment IMO. Agar's recruitment hasn't been that bad given the limitations of salary cap already allocated to existing contracts and the issues with Dykes and Carvell. Hardly his fault that his two major signings are stuck waiting for visas and other top players are out injured.

If we even looked capable of playing the basics of the game I could accept that. As it is, he has had his 1st choice 1/2 backs available pretty much all season yet we still look clueless with the ball. We are also slow and predictable with ball in hand.

That's been the case, to a greater or lesser extent, for longer than Agar has been in charge. I'm not attempting to defend Agar as a coach, but the squad is also inadequate. He shouldn't need to coach professional RL players in the basics.

The point that I was agreeing with is that we have a poor/average side that Agar largely inherited, and he is not a good enough coach to get those players playing to a reasonable standard.
