Quote ="The Key"The idea of accepting our own mediocrity due to the fact other teams are playing poorly is a very weak arguement. We have played poorly ever since Agar took over. Even when we were winning our first five games, we barely played with consistancy. We could have easily lost against Wigan, Hudds and Celtic. There are tons of problems with the team, which is down to both players and the coaching set up. I want a new coaching set up and I want them to get the players to either shape up or not give them new contracts until they do, thus meaning crap players will eventually leave. If there wasn't a salary cap and we had the money, I would have backed any new coach to release players'"
There's lots of things I disagree with about Hull FC at the moment. However, getting shut of the coaching set up and all the "crap" players that have been identified on here, as well as Kath Hetherington et al is simply not going to happen.
The reality is, like it or not, that Agar is the current coach. He is in charge of a team that are currently playing poorly, as are many other coaches. If he turns it around in the next few games then it will show he may be the right choice (only long term success will determine that). If not then throw him on the scrapheap never to be heard of again (like we did with two of our last three coaches
