This is a disgraceful post. You wrote yourself that the fans have never been more divided and then you post garbage like this. You accuse people of accepting mediocrity but what have you actually done other than whine and constantly repeat the bleeding obvious? I asked a question do you think the club as run out of money. It was based on the share issue which people generously donated to which provided 349 grand, 49 grand for a mower off the fans then Mr carter's dad made a fantastic gesture of 300 grand, was this used to pay the bills or prop the club or keep the club maybe out of administration. They are not accusations or lies, I'm asking where the 300 grand went and why did he have to put it in.

But my only basis is the accounts for lsst year and the fact no one has complained they are not being paid.

let me make this clear at no time am I saying there is anything underhand, the club made the share offer in December 23 in January 23 we announced we'd bought a new mower. The shares were filed in July 23 but dated march 23. At the bottom of the share list is carter's dad with 300000, all I wanted to know was for what purpose did he have to stick all that money in with no return on it. Great gesture by the way.

My take on it simply is we needed money to do more improvements to team and club. Not the same as needing money to stave off administration.

The very fact we used member money to buy new mower and do a bore hole kinda indicates that. Both handy. Neither is a do or die purchase.

For all I know we may be in financial trouble, I don't get to see the day to day finances.
But the donations and accounts do not indicate that.

If the club and players had put the same effort , pride and passion into their game as the fans had done backing them this season i’m pretty sure we wouldn’t be in this sorry position we find ourselves in

Probably boycott the club and not assist financially and show less support. These fans are clueless and the reality is that they are the problem and part of the reason why the club is where it is.

Like anything else in life they blame others and not themselves.

For those who turned up, supported the club financially and in spirit and believed in the team. Well done, it’s been a tough year and you did your best.

Hearing from more and more folk that whatever happens we won't be relegated. I can't see us surviving personally and we don't deserve to, but stranger things have happened in Rugby League.

I hope supporters don’t believe that our redeveloped ground will guarantee our place in SL. It will not, ok the east stand will look good but the changes to the original plan have limited its impact when up against other clubs both in the SL and the championship. The west stand is an eyesore and unless it is developed it will go against us on the ratings.

About half of the championship clubs have a stadium which on the face of it are better than ours is currently, and of the super league clubs there's probably only Cas which is worse than ours, there's also some better grounds than ours in C1.

Realistically looking at it, we've probably got around the 18-20th best stadium even with the new stand

I can't remember how many times I've had to explain this.
It is part of the criteria. It won't saves us on it's own but if we didn't have it we'd be even further away.
And it potentially makes money which many of those stadiums do not.

You're right, it is part of the criteria, but given about 20 clubs will score higher than us on it, it's probably not a big swing factor. Too many fans who are up the backside of the board seem to think we've developed the greatest stadium in the world

What would save us though is investment in the team to secure a higher league position, and investment in the fans so that they increase the fanbase both online and in person - but the club don't seem interested in doing that, or if they are, have spectacularly failed to do so and have instead left a divided and dissolutioned fanbase which is getting smaller and smaller
