Hudds were a lot better then Leeds yes 3 weeks ago, and Trinity were a lot worse. Hudds know how to batter Wakefield, they've done it time and time again.

This was a post I made after last years defeat at home to the Giants. A number of the players might have changed but the majority of the comments remain valid IMO.

I do not like to criticise JK but as others have already said the bench was far too lightweight. Murphy should have been at FB as our three wins coincided with him being there using his pace to good advantage. Blanch should have started on the wing and blaymire not have been included. King should have been on the bench.

Gleesons position has also got to be under threat as his defensive positioning his awful leaving Morton forced to come infield and giving Hodgson the room he needed to make breaks/score

theres not alot more he could have posted to be honest, but in all fairness i dont think huddersfield will be too far from the top of the table this season and they have always been your bogey team so it was probbably just a one off for you.

I've seen both sides of the coin today, watching my lads team demolish a good shaw cross side, and then watch Wakey being shown how to play the game,
there was some good tries to watch from an outsider

This is the way we often play against Hudds. There seems to be, for whatever bizarre reason, an alarmingly poor level of application when we play against them. More often than not, anyway. Some of the missed tackles were unforgivable at all levels of the game.

Ageed 100%, last week saints broke us time an again but we always managed to get back, they had numerous sets on our line but we managed to repelthem, this week normy u10s could have put up more resistance, for the first time ever i left a game early tonight, 2o minutes early as well, that performance was nothing short of a disgrace. Dont get me wrong hudds are a good side but in this day and age no one should be getting beat like that, and especially a team who should be brimming with confidence.

If was John Kear, at half time I would have confronted the players in the tunnel, said "where the hell do you think you're going, get back on the pitch!" and giving them a public rollocking.. By rights, those players need taking on the first plane to Kabul or Baghdad to see real heroes who make huge sacrifices every day without any guarantee that they will see the whole day through in one piece, i.e. the British Army. That "performance" was simply unacceptable.

Not since Allan McCurrie brought 2nd division Whitehaven to Belle Vue in 82/83 have I being so annoyed and embarrassed by a home performance
But we need to draw a line under it and move on to HKR on Friday
Then we need to address the situation regarding our lack of props and centres we have little or no cover in either position due to the fact that the club never learns regarding signing the likes of King and Johnson who will not play 20 SL games between them all season
We are not far away one P poor performance does not make a poor side
Win or lose at HKR the one thing I do not want to see is players who are not 100% fit being in the team so if BJ,DB and JD are not fit the squad players will have to step up and be counted
