Strange but the result on Friday probably mean less to me then any other match I can remember.

Tragic occasions like this make winning and losing a rugby match seem almost trivial.

The players merely showing up and wearing the Wakey jersey with pride will be enough for me.

Agreed, i could not care less about the game or the result on friday but if its what the familly want and the players are ok then i will go and pay my respects and support the players.

actually glad its saints, and hope they send the top 17 and go for it,as only they can. The club and leons memory deserve it, perhaps a great game would be the most fitting tribute.

not going to be a normal game though cos frankly i dont give a damn about the points or the league just now.

I'm obviously not a Wakey fan, but if I were I'd be proud to support the club. You guys have been through a hell of a lot in the past 12months and I am not alone when I say I admire your strength, courage and sheer determination.

Your club makes it a privilege to support RL. I sincerely hope that Wakefield bounce back and dedicate the season to the memories of Leon Walker and Adam Watene.

Well put mate, I respect your decision 200%. Don't think i'll care less about ours or any other result this weekend. If the two teams do take to the field on Friday i'm sure the Whole rugby league family will be there, stood shoulder to shoulder supporting them.

I think most would agree that the results of our game and all others this weekend are the least important thing we should be worrying about.

Snowie, I think you're echoing the thoughts and feelings of a great many Wakefield fans who are right there with you in feeling very raw at the moment.

With that in mind it's a good call to postpone this weeks predictions.

I hope no one thinks I'm being insensitive when I suggest that a solution to missing this weeks round.

Maybe everyone should be awarded their average points so far for this week.

Let's just award no points at all to anyone for both weekends.

Deeply saddened by the loss, as is the whole of the Rugby league world.

Gestures are coming from all over, and if the minutes silence are not total silence i expect the people that dont observe to be chucked out.

I back you all the way on this one Steve, Sunday's tragic occurrence has knocked us all for six I think.

Same, We were in the pub exstatic after our first win since last august, getting drunk and all that getting ready for your game on the tele, then we got a text about what had happened and like people have said, the rugby isn't important, didn't care about the Warrington result, was very sombre in the pub as you'd imagine as the news spread. Very sad news, friday will be emotional. RIP Leon.
