haha, rubbish! it was wakefield fans mis-reading the ticket information and the wakefield website getting it wrong in the first place!

it was confirmed early in the season that away fans pay £23 before the day of the game and £25 on match day itself, but if it makes you feel important and you feel like you've won a small battle go for it!

I have supported Wakefield home and away since 75 I have got to the stage that enough is enough I will not pay these prices. I am lucky in I have a good job I am well paid but this is getting ridiculous
£25-27 plus fuel plus program etc sorry but no looking like home games only and if that gets out of hand at the new stadium it will be none
I don’t go to watch football anymore for the same reasons

and here is a key message for the club. i don't subscribe to the "build it and they will come" mantra. if we get fleeced on the rent at newmarket, and this is reflected in ticketing prices then we'll not see the uplift in numbers that we all want to see. fwiw i think that james elston is doing a great job at the moment in getting the momemtum going and bringing numbers through the gates, and long may it continue.

it's a long term plan. cheap prices through membership, and with membership people feel like they belong. over time thier kids will belong too, and their mates and neighbours and extended family. this is how we can build long term by pricing reasonably, and by making people feel included.

hull on the other hand don't seemingly want our custom. £23-£25 is a farce.

simple answer is if you dont want to pay, dont come!

fc, like kr are the furthest clubs to travel to in sl, (after london and catalan), even when prices were cheaper the away fans still travelled in low numbers! every other club has numerous clubs within a short drive, ours is 45 minutes, the north stand costs the same as the west and east, can't blame the club for making money out of little away support that travels over! the south stand is cheaper to entice non season ticket holders back to the game after the last few years of dross rugby!

don't forget the £10 to get your car minded in hull.

Would suggest that watching RL in now comparatively less expensive than it has ever been as the cost of watching ` your ` team at home is so cheap with all the special offers available on season tickets. Am I right in thinking that you could but a season ticket for only £ 100.00 this year. This offsets any perceived price increase for away games. This is also the reason why attendances for cup matches are so low as people will not pay the ticket prices after they have been fed on a diet of discounted season tickets. In reality the clubs should get together and get rid of these cheap season ticket offers. The product is excellent, the stadiums are improving, why reduce the price.

I think you miss the point here.
Whether Wakefield or any other club has looked after their own fans, with ST deals or matchday pricing, is totally irrelevent.
Why should other clubs consistantly get away with charging inflated prices compared with others. These are 2 seperate issues.
The point , especially in the current ecconomic climate, is that many people are having to make choices on how to spend their weekly
income and although we all enjoy RL, it is effectively a "luxury" item.
You mention percieved increases in away ticket prices but these increases are actual, not percieved and or club shouldnt give us cheap admission just so
we can line the pockets of other more greedy clubs.
If our club is trying hard to "help" the fans, then it is certainly not unreasonable for others to be doing something similar, unless of course they feel that
they will sell the same number of tickets, regardless of price or, that their team/ facilities are far superior compared with other grounds and that it is fair and
reasonable to charge a premium.
Whilst the KC is a great stadium, it does not warrent a 20% surcharge compared with others.
It will still be staging 26 players knocking lumps out of each other.

I couldn't give a flying f... about the standard of ground and facilities. Stick em where the sun don't shine. All I want is to watch my team at a reasonable price, if when Newmarket gets built they start ripping fans off that have supported them through thick and thin and start charging away fans silly prices then that's the time I will start and just watch the sky games and follow the results. These prices don't warrant the product on show, Hull F.C are no way near £25 worth of entertainment.

great if you can see, but the steps at belle vue are not the greatest! standing at the top behind the sticks its hard to see the in-goal area, standing on the side of the ground, same again, shallow steps, so unless you are over 6ft and can see over kids sat on a wall, great views all round!
