They played well but it was nothing special, certainly shouldn't have been a 36-0 performance. They did the basics well and ground it out. We tried to take the easy option and made it easy for them.

Lets face it London under 18s would have played wakey off the park today. I can't understand why there was no interest from any of them

Hard to stomach this embarrassment. Kicking game abysmal 2 half backs who don't seem to know when it's the last tackle resulting in handovers, powerplays that aren't on and nothing kicks. Agars selections baffling as usual why is southern the captain on the interchange? Wood should be used much earlier in he game if not why is he picked? No wonder hull fans got frustrated with this joker. A good half against Catalan can't paper over the cracks. That just gives a massive boost to Cas for Friday.

They did get the rub of the green and maybe 36 is harsh but they played what came at them and did it well. The other side of the coin is did we deserve the 0 AND YES WE DID.

Agree, we may be able to get by in the odd game but during the course of the season, no way we need to get someone in sharpish.
The speed of the line in defense was appalling, basically waiting for them to run at them, which is the opposite to how we've been playing so far this year. No direction from the halfbacks either which is really disappointing because it all seemed to becoming together the past few games. Generally though they just looked like they've just got off the bus, out enthused from start to finish, hope it's just one of those games and I believe it is after the previous two games.

Yeah but we've signed Sykes just in case we score and dropped Walshaw to make way for him.

Only Wakey can do so well against Wires away and beat catalans at home and lose this badly against a team around the same place in the league as us! But it happens to all teams. We are a very new team!

I left when it got to 28-0 as I couldn't stand watching such a useless performance any longer -and I'm not someone who normally does "the Wigan walk".

The only positives from today are the cheap tickets through Group On & the good performance from the reserves. In fact, I think the reserves playing a second match straight away would have given a better showing than the "best" 17 that were out there today.

Right now I don't know if I can be be bothered making the 400-mile round trip for Friday's match.

We could have played all night and not scored. Lets just hope its a bad day at the office because a performance like that on friday will not be tolerated.
