Tansey was anonymous and completely tactically inept when allowing Dixon to get by him and support McCarthy and score his 1st half try.

Lyne was atrocious, taking the wrong option time and again, wasting good field opportunities and basically offering nothing going forward.

How Johnstone is getting passed over in favour of these two is beyond belief

Agreed I thought Godinet was awful today.

He didn't look anywhere near full fitness to be honest. Looked like he was struggling to get back into the line on numerous occasions.

Swings and roundabouts, there were a few decisions went your way as well, the biggest being the second try was not grounded before he was turned on his back.

Trinity have a 26 man squad so it's time to play some others like Johnstone.

What about Yates and Kirke? Both were playing for the Super League Champions only 12 months ago but can't get into the 17 or even a mention?

The Widnes games become more important and a win will see us in a stronger position for the last two games, B Smiths in charge of team selection and I for one wouldn't want it any other way. Hes the man in charge and who sees the players day in day out his selections will be based on what he sees, who he thinks can do the job, and players that are unavailable .

Haven't sen anything of Yates so won't comment on him but if you think playing Ian Kirke is a better option than what we have been playing then things must really be desperate. He may have scored a couple of tries in the very few games he has played but his attitude has always looked way way off. Whether it's when he's on the field or when he's warming up on the touchline he has looked very much to me like someone who just does not want to be at Wakey and is not prepared to fight for the cause.
I might be wrong, but that's how he has looked to me almost since day one.
