Though game was too one sided to judge.Leeds had a few out ,Think it got said by Pundits 10 times .To me not enough quality to change my mind about the state of the game in this country .Both will be given grade A .Worrying for the English players coming though

Warrington look a different team this year, so might challenge, and Leeds looked dreadful.

On the other hand, it was the same last year at this time. One finished 11th and one went to the Grand Final.

Leeds quite often start badly. They've won it at least twice from fifth, after having a bumpy start.

But a promising start for Warrington.

On top of Last nights defeat we now have to deal with Saints being WCC champions. At least Leigh lost.

Why is that a problem?
They won fair and square and represented England and Super League extremely well.

Fantastic performance by St Helens, I was into the game and I’m proud that they won it for Sts SL and Northern Hemisphere Rugby League fans

Wigan's failure to turn the first three tries into 6 pointers really let Rovers off the hook. Toby King continues to look absolute pants.

We would still have won by three points…

My point is that the momentum of the game could have been a whole lot different at 6-18.

Both Wigan and HKR were forgettable in that clash ,Wigan desperately need someone who can kick goals as it proved costly .Makes me feel a little easier after watching this game that it isn’t just us who haven’t hit their straps yet .

I didn't think either Leigh or Salford played well

They didn't, but it was always going to be tough for Salford, because of the emotion around Leigh. That will be a big loss for Leigh. First game back up. Winnable game.

Have to say though that Leigh looked every part a Grade A club. Good ground. Good support. Money backer. We look poor against them.

Sadly Gaskell couldn’t tie his laces.

Miller is at least enthusiastic but we have made our choices for whatever reasons.

That's the issue. I wasn't unhappy about Miller leaving, thought it was time to be honest. However absolutely amazed we never recruited a replacement and relied on that useless stiff Gaskill. What were the club thinking about if they thought that was a good idea.

Well the replacement was supposed to be Smith, it’s be interesting to see if any other SL club was interested in him.
