We ordered ours online, and I don't think we got a letter, so SWMBO has been in the shop today to enquire, and they have various folders with everyones details on, they located our details in the folder, and once they had seen some i.d. handed over the tickets...

If you ordered on-line you should have received a confirmation email with the title 'Wakefield Wildcats - Membership Registration Application'. Print this off and take it with you when collecting your tickets. It contains all the details that they require.

Got ours today, £10 new shirt voucher, free M.O.T. leaflet, Wakefield 2012 fixture card all sorted in a couple of minuites, good job

Same here. I ordered over phone so had not letter or anything but took it and card that I used. They sorted it in no time. They just checked some details with me for confirmation.

I then spent all the money I saved in the shop. The girls serving were great. I practically had a personal shopper.
Very impressed.

cant see why I have to prat about parking in Wakefield at this time of year to collect my season ticket from the Ridings shop why cant we collect from both shops and the end of the day I paid for the ticket at the ground shop

Mybe part of the deal with the shop to get people in the ridings

WE scratch your back you scratch ours if you know wot i mean , So every time we do something it will be in the ridings IMO

the season tickets are filled in with your name on ready to collect so it would only duplicate the tickets

look at the short view of it we will have a shop at Newmarket when it happens

A friend went for their season ticket, had a receipt but hadn't been given a letter. Had identification on them, but were still refused their ticket. Had to go home and wait for a phone call to tell them to go back and collect their ticket.

Just took my reciept and ID piked them up on Thurs no probs.

Strange, I didn't have a letter but showed them some i.d and the card used to purchase the ticket and there was no problem. Even spent a few quid in the shop as well. Very well organised, helpful and friendly.

Boo. No room for this kind of contrary positive feedback on this thread. Particularly as the friendliness suggest it wasn't a case of anyone remembering you from the Bradford game.

I took my passport and proof of address, the lady (who was very nice and helpful) asked me when I bought it (roughly) and hey presto!!

I asked for mine sending by post, not recieved it yet, however the season doesn't start until February.

If you've a Wakefield address you have to pick it up at the shop. Only posting to addresses out of Wakefield, even if you requested it.

And there is where the policy breaks down. Liversidge, with its WF postcode, is further away than, say, Rothwell with its LS postcode, yet the supporter further away would have to collect their ticket whilst the nearer one wouldn't. Not a great plan IMHO.

They have to chose one way of doing it and WF postcodes is as good a way as any.
Some will gain some won't.

But the service in the shop is excellent in my opinion. I've been in twice for ticket and shirt sales and couldn't have wished for better service.
This is light years ahead of where we were.

Very true and by making people pick them up from the shop chances are they will buy something while they are there. It's almost like there's some kind of forward thinking going on.

anyone should be able to get a postage delivery where ever they live

just go for a UK recorded delivery and add a handling charge...... simple

Not forward enough unfortunately if some people WITH WF postcodes ticked the box requesting post out.

The option should be as snowie has suggested - if you want post, you pay - it seems to be the way with all other forms of ticket sales. Then add a handling charge, a credit card charge and a charge for anything charge.......

Imagine the cost of posting all tickets out 3800 x 0.43p= £1748 and this cost would have to be covered by the club. This is at a time when the club needs as much funds as possible.

It is still a time of transition and how much better are things now. season tickets have gone from 1500 to over 3800 and still rising. all good things come to those who wait!! Next year will be much better im sure.

Have to agree really. The club can't afford to spend any money that isn't absolutely necessary. There would always be a problem like there is with schools - a boundary has to be somewhere and there will always be one person in the next street that's outside the boundary. Maybe if a person can't resonably get to the shop they could ring in and do a credit/debit card charge of (say) £1 to make it easy and then it could be posted out.

I went in on Saturday and the place was really busy, but all the staff were really helpful, jolly and efficient. Certainly beat many other shops in the Ridings. Lots of people buying shirts (including me) so it seems to be going well. Long may it continue.

That value is not strictly true as many would be duplicate addresses - but it would cost a lot non the less. I'm sure next years offer will be phrased slightly differently based on what has been learned this year.
