I tend to take journalists stories with a pinch of salt.

I reckon the supporters trust will have enough to buy the club soon if O'Hara keep this up.

But this is more confusing than that was.

It's not what I heard and Mr Glover is very much still interested in the club, and I think O'Hara's appear to be very unprofessional with how they are conducting themselves with the media. They may have well said "it's not our fault, it's him, he's dragging his heals."

Perhaps he's declined to comment as he's a peeved as we are. Thus preventing himself from saying something he may later regret.

To be fair, they are a professional company with a reputation. If they themselves are being mucked about it is in the interests of everyone for them to report it. This to me sounds like it is a warning shot over the bow. i.e. time to come to the table properly if you are interested or let us know otherwise.

I would suggest that is the correct course of action for him. Let his legal people deal with it. In hindsight Friday was a mistake, but obviously it's been taken on board. OHara's seem to be the ones that are flapping.

I don’t think it was a mistake, I believe he was using it as a tool to boost the club going into the start of the season which was the right thing to do. This week has almost wiped out the optimism that press release generated, but that’s out of Mr Glovers control. Agree with you point regarding O'Hara's.

As I see it now there aer two scenarios:either the rfl are dragging their feet on the fit/proper persons test to make the hole deeper(must be able to be done before thurs/fri,the deal was done last fri,supposedly)also is mr glover is considering pulling out.Either way it gives the admins more time to sell more players,which isn't good either.

Open it up as an eBay store for a week or so (maybe until the Salford game) while this gets sorted - as you say cannot see anybody buying much until then. Get rid of the staff and then maybe even ask for volunteers for the Salford game. Shouldn't cost a right lot to do this and you still keep open the option for anybody to buy merchandise int he unlikely event they want it.

Not much difference but if we have 30+ non playing staff you could at least knob off those from the shop short term.
