When our place went to a public hearing, the objectors came out of the woodwork I don't think any were under 70. Most of them were probably dead by the time it was built anyway.

They were concerned about fighting (think they had been watching Danny Dyer), noise (it used to be a 24 hour a day brewery) to name just 2. basically some people will object to anything.

Is 8th April the deadline for comments of support then? if so anyone on here hasn't forwarded a comment of support then do so it only takes 5 mins and at least everyone on here will be doing their bit. If thats the best the objectors can come up with I don't think we've much to worry about that flyer is libellous I'm sure there was a public consultation at Stanley community centre just before christmas .
