I maintain we should have won that. In fact fact we could have won it several times over, sadly we are quite simply crap. The kids actually did ok, it was the senior guys who were poor. Miller was the worst of the lot, utterly dire. And i’m afraid my patience is wearing thin with Lino. He flatters to deceive week after week.

Once again our attack was awful. I get the issues we have had with injuries, suspensions and covid. But Salford were missing plenty as well and our halves should have been dictating the outcome of that game. They were incapable yet again. I keep saying it but we need a change of tack.

Agree about the experienced players, our half backs were shocking -Creativity is not in their vocabulary.

Injuries/Covid are all part of parcel of the game, this is a squad game, not who has the best 17, both us and Salford had the same number of players out (around 10) so it was as much a weakened side for them as it was for us.

If you want to carry on making excuses then that's your choice, if your happy with that performance then great but I`m most certainly not, these "Kids" are in our first team squad. By the way did Batch start at centre? Or did we have a specialist centre, a young lad that's been playing out of his bloody skin at Donny? Didn`t Chester just randomly take him off half way through the second half to replace him with Batch?

Pauli Pauli showed our so called talisman player how a giant of a forward should run with the ball, and take four defenders with you. Terrible display once again. Ashurst made quite a few metres in attack, but gave them back again with his poor defending. I would imagine Ollie Greensmith learnt nothing of any value towards his career from this game.

We have seen the same type of performance too many times. We can bring in any number of new players but the style of play remains unchanged. I am sure Chester will look to blame having to play the team we did and Westerman being unavailable but other teams manage. I am not sure if the club or supporters would survive another two or three seasons of the same problems.
We all know our shortcomings but the coaching team appear unable to rectify these despite having a relegation free season to work on them.

Never said I was happy … IMO we couldn’t replace our missing players as well as Salford did .. hence the disjointed play . Plus they had experience throughout the team we didn’t … not happy at all but could see why we played as we did !

A plus for me his that Kershaw, is getting better with each game ,and Kay as Many strings to is bow and is wasted on the wing very good game at hooker last week and playing fullback to night .Those two players have proved me wrong big time, and all i can say is good of them

Been saying Miller’s been getting away with poor performances the past couple of years because he’s undroppable . Linos only been here for 6 months whereas Miller has been here nearly 6 years.
