Looked great in the first half with strong defence and quick play the ball's, looked very poor in the second with awful discipline and woeful defending from kicks. The players really lost the plot. One thing that does concern me is Trinity seem to try and play too much in the wrong half of the pitch but then clam up when the attacking third.

Really, we couldn't score in the first half, could have sworn we did. Where does he say we'd finish top 8 as well.

Collis should step up with respect to goal kicking. He came over with that cited as a virtue, John just doesn't look confident when lining up, and that will cost us when the games are closer.

Come on love you can do better than this, surely.

As for goal kicking....well, I don't know what to say apart from that you are a kicker or you are not. You can not make someone a kicker who was not blessed with the ability. Issac John is definitely not a kicker and never will be. I am not sure what warrants his selection in the team at the moment either as he does not offer as much Kyle Wood or Tim Smith. I did not see what triggered off Tim Smith tonight, but at least he was one of a small number who showed hunger tonight.

What a complete load of crap. No kicker, no gamemaker, Aiton can't pass the ball. Top 8 finish ? You must be having a laugh.

We should have been out of reach by half time, but were let down by our half backs again. Neither Smith or John are showing any creativity to unlock defences. Thought we missed Amor tonight, and I still don't get the attraction to Kyle Wood, he seems to run around a lot but lacks any real substance. Kirmond, Cockayne and Mathers were the three top performers for me.

got rid a decent goal kicker, with a great kicking game to make way for John, which based on what he is producing is bizaare.

My take on the game...

First half...

Overall we looked a far better team and there were many breaks and half chances that were crying to be finished off. Bradford failed to create the same chances and ultimately came out ahead by a stray pass and a soft try.

The possession, yards made were all in wakefields favour but sadly the finishing touch was not there.

Second half...

I thought we were still the more adventurous team of the two but yet again, no finishing touch. A few decisions that ultimatelly could have ended in scores. The discipline was a worry and although Bradford to me didn't look as good they were certainly smarter...

Their players capitalised well from many a penalty gifted. Jeffries kicking was very intelligent and precise at a few points and the poor positioning and on the flip good positioning from bulls caught us out time again.

Bradford looked unlikely to break the defence but just played smarter.

Also one area I think bulls did well was from dummy half, countless times they weaved out then behind our markers for a good 10-15 yards.. This should have been addressed at half time and wasn't.

Now.. Let's be realistic. We are 3 games in and have a game in hand. We have a new team but this excuse can only hold so long. The skills on show and plays/structure are superior to last year but there needs to be some more composure. We are in no ways in a panic station on the indicators are there we can hit a gear we got nowhere near last year.

So although it was dissappointing let's back the team for a while yet. It's a long season and just started,

Very disappointing especially in defending kicks.John looks way out of his depth and not ready for this level of the game and he certainly is not a goal kicker.Also Collis needs to realise he has a winger on the outside as he never looks to pass and is far too greedy.Dulls got everything in second half and made the most of it but the refacing was abysmal at best.

Moore. However, at Hull KR home last year pretty sure Hyde got his conversions as Griffin was poor.
