The worry is age plus injury though with Morrison. Now he could well play every game next season but weighing it up you would have to think he is more likely to pick up injuries due to his age.

True, but when/if he plays you know you will get what you want. A young player may well play every game but will only play 25% well. It's a balancing act and not easy to do but Kear has got good mileage out of our three OAP's JD, Martin and Drew who have all won us the odd game.

Equally as important have we currently got a Morrison type player coming through the ranks. Now that Pitts has left the answer is not really, if we did I'd think differently.

Morrison would be a good player for one year. His injuries this year have been broken ribs and a fractured wrist. they are injuries you can get at 18.

If it was shoulders( ie Solo) or Knees i would not touch him with a bargepole Plus his wife is gorgeous

The thing is, when you say he's injury prone that tends to suggest recurrent injuries. However Morrison's injuries at Bradford have all been different. Personally, I think it's more down to Bradford's other players not putting in the effort that means Morrison pushes himself harder to cover the lack of effort and therefore ends up hurting himself

One year deal, I'm happy with that. Also his experience will prove vital to the academy players.

I think imports reduces down to 6 this season so that leave one place to fill. If the rumoured deal for an Aussie SO that means we have seen the last of Obst, Blanch and possibly Latu.

You do need a blend but at 33 and having struggled with injury the last 2 years you have to wonder. Also as a forward you tend to take more of a battering than in the backs.

Seems that the decision is made so we'll have to see how he goes. I really hope that we don't follow this up with the signing of Solo!

I think it’s the right way to go. 5 is a good number. It should ensure clubs bring only the best they can afford over rather then squad fillers.

I was more referring to the NF and ex players not the clubs fault but rules need to be tighter to create a situation where clubs only bring in the best.

IF he remains relatively injury free,good signing.

Delighted with this signing, a full off season rest, he hasnt any reaccuring injurys that pop up now and again i.e. rooney hamstring, solo shoulder etc. He'll bring a great deal of expierence.

Its the last we've seen on martin anyway with morrison taking over martins role as assistant u18's coach.

If he stays clear of injury then i think this could turn out to be an excellent signing for us. I'd go as far as to say one of JK's best. There is no doubting the guys class and his presence alone can only help bring on the likes of Ferguson, Annekin & Trout.
Our pack at full strength next year is looking pretty awesome!

Here's hoping in 12 months we are talking about how good he has been and debating as to if we should give him another year!
