Would love to see Rooney make a return if fit enough, think hes got a great rugby brain on him and can spot gaps in defences better than most. A proper stand off too, anyone know how hes getting on?

Adam that's not my argument. If you see atkins, martin, gleeson and George in a squad they are all centres but you don't have four centres in your team. Some may have to play out of position.

I class George as a winger because that is where he has played most of his games.

Maybe in a few years time he will move into the centre but for now he is a winger when I see him in the squad

It doesnt matter what you class him as, in the great scheme of things its what Kear thinks of him that matters. It must be comforting for him to know that in a few years time he might move into the centre. As a matter of interest have you imformed coach Kear of your observations.

Needs a mobile side, they're not the biggest pack and there 3/4 line is quite big and strong Mr Kear needs to start picking players in position Sam is no more a 6 than my mum, but he's a good 7 or 9, Henderson is too slow for centres so he's in the mix forback row only and that's getting tougher now with frank. Grix isn't a winger, and him next to atkins is a recipe for disaster if we can afford it he's a replacement off the bench or he has to wait for an injury at 1 or 6. Matin has played his best rugby at 6 and that coincides with ourbest rugby, so;

Regarding the Luke George argument:

In the future, if he progresses, I have no doubt that he will be a centre.

At the moment, at this stage of his development which is something the coach will take into consideration, at Super League level he is a winger. I'm also sure that Luke George himself would accept this as the case.

As he becomes more accomplished, confident and comfortable at Super League level I'm sure he will move into the centre's and be bloody good at that.

Might I also point out that when David Topliss first broke into the 1st team at Trinity it was as a winger. Everyone knew that he would become a half back but at first he was chosen on the wing because thats what he could cope with and deliver from. As he matured he moved into the stand off role and the rest is history.

The Quins squad is now at full strength(minus Haggerty) The injured players all played for the reserves yesterday.

You will be up against a team running hot(although at times inconsistent!)

When Stosic was selling raffle tickets on Saturday, he said he hoped to be available for selection next week, if not, week after.

I think there is a good chance of a win on Sunday. I think some of the players will have been embarrassed by their defence on Saturday, particularly for the Fielden try, and I just have a feeling that they may go out on the pitch with something to prove. Would be good to hit form again before the Hudds game.

I would play Rooney, if fit. A proper stand-off, who hopefully is chomping at the bit. For me, Martin takes the kick option to often in attack when there is a running play on.

when things start to go sour we always drop the british players and stack the aussies in the team... I would like to see us put faith in the young and the english players, and rotate the overseas players in support roles.

This season the players/coaching staff have all agreed that no one will get
a game in the first team before they have played for the reserves. Sounds well in theory but right know it could by an hinderance.

We have players stacking up to get picked but did not have a reserve game last week and will not get another one till the weekend I believe. Therefore if JK sticks to that system you can forget Bibbey,Stoisc and Rooney.

I can understand why they've come to that agreement, it does make sense to do it that way, but the downside is thats players who are match fit and just miss one game through a knock are still match fit and ready to go. Long term injuries should be brought back through the reserves(rooney/bibbey/stosic) but i reckon Fergy and Gleeson could drop straight back in with no real problems.

Yes but we are crying out for some muscle upfront. Its also much easier for props to come back as they can take 3 /10 minute spells. I think for this match we should ignore this rule.
