Absolutely not - I'm fully supportive of the ever reliable Wellington Boot; it's a functional and workmanlike option when faced with muddy/wet conditions.

I have some doubts about flowery ones, heeled ones, or turned over ones - but they seem to be worn situationally, usually in combination with denim shorts and a bra at music festivals; a subversion of the original form perhaps, but still functional. I'll get back to you on that.

First pumping of the season, be interesting to see the team sheet next week given Chester drops players on performances. Hopefully we will see some of the youngsters who did so well against Hull and Leeds come back in.

So what we won our first in 5 games last week where getting smashed by salford but this is our best squad ever with best coach...really problem is its ok we won last week well that was pointless cos a win tonight would of been better in regards league.

It sounds like an absolutely dire performance which sometimes can't be explained How can a performance like last week week be followed up by one like this. I just hope it's simply a bad day at the office and we can get them lifted for next week......

Looking at it objectively the week after the week after the Easter period some teams are gassed and the games Trinity have played have been pretty intense. Hopefully this played a major part in tonight's capitulation.

Not sure if it was effort or desire that cost you after your efforts last week. We're a minnow in the scheme of things but we're always hard to beat. The result has surprised me considering we're missing a few key players and lost Lui earlyish. Got a lot of love for Wakey and you'll bounce back. Consistency is the big ask for both our teams, but both are capable of safety in the top eight this season.

I don't think you clicked and we're a team that works hard to overcome our shortcomings, so combine the two and the result is less surprising.

As someone once said, " A riddle wrapped up in an enigma". That's Wakefield Trinity, I'm afraid. I can't work out why it turns out this way for us.

Hopefully CC will abandon this FA style player rotation and play our BEST available side each game. It doesn't seem to work.

That was purely down to our attitude tonight, quite frankly it stank the place out. Too many thought they just had to turn up and they’d win. I imagine they’ll be a few changes next week and rightly so.

Sounded like on the radio & from the brief highlights I've seen that both Finn & Grix had shockers & I've no doubt both are gonna get some grief on here this week. I've stated elsewhere that I felt both didn't contribute much last week, but the team as a whole delivered a great victory.

Does CC play the same team again & demand they deliver or are we again gonna see some changes.

I'm thinking that Easter isn't that long ago, a series of agonisingly close defeats & then last weeks heroics has left them drained mentally & physically?

As frustrating as it is it's just one of them nights and hopefully we don't have too many of them, last season we had a great season but still had a few off games, Leeds away Salford away in the cup but we still came good. It's frustrating because a win tonight would have cemented us in top 8 and looked towards top 6 but dust ourselves down and move on. Nothing went for us and Salford played well and worked hard hence the result. Train hard for next week and get back on track.
